Absolutely! Beginners are welcome to join our Level 1 or Mixed Level classes. Level 1 moves at a slower pace and usually doesn’t include any major balance challenges. Mixed level moves a little bit faster but is layered to suit different levels of strength and experience. Our instructors are skilled in delivering classes that cater for a mixture of abilities. Clients that are completely new to exercise or returning after a long period of inactivity are asked to arrive 10 minutes early so that our instructors can talk with you beforehand. Please note that beginners may not be permitted to enter the class if they are late for class.

Our classes are not suitable for people with an acute injury that prevents them from participating in general exercises as we do not adapt classes on an individual basis. Clients can contact us if they are unsure as to whether their injury would prevent them from attending.

We welcome beginner, prenatal clients, who have been cleared to exercise and are experiencing an uncomplicated pregnancy, into our Level 1 classes for the full duration of their pregnancy. Clients who have been attending regularly may attend Mixed Level classes up to 18 weeks of pregnancy and then switch to Level 1. Please inform your instructor if you are pregnant before the class begins. A disclosure will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence.

Post natal clients must wait a minimum of 6 weeks post vaginal delivery and 12 weeks post C-section. They should have received their postnatal checkup and clearance to resume normal exercise before attending. In the warmer months we have a mother and baby reformer class on our schedule that might suit best at this stage but post natal clients are also welcome to join Level 1 and Mixed Level classes. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@remedyreformer.ie.

We advise wearing comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Layers work well as you may become warm during the workout. Socks must be worn. Grip socks help when using the reformer but they are not essential. You can purchase grip socks in our studio.

Please bring a drink of water.
